Northland Physical Therapy has done just that with its aquisition of the most up to date interactive technology around - the Cybex Trazer. It is a powerful new patient experience that dramatically improves neuromuscular agility while adding an exciting new dimension of fun and function to exercise.

Being the only P.T. clinic in the 4 state area to own one, our Trazer launches you into a virtual world where reaction, acceleration, speed and balance literally drive on screen activities.

Dynamic programming provides both visual and auditory cues that combine functional movement with immediate biofeedback to create a unique exercise experience.

Simply, the Trazer has been an excellent device for the entire range of patient ages; from the athlete recovering from post surgical knee or ankle injury to an elderly fall prone patient with vestibular deficiencies.

The patient follows a preselected program inclusive of the appropriate intensity duration and obstacle levels. The programs can be as basic as moving to an object on a checkerboard type screen or as difficult as shadowing a moving target and them catching and passing back a virtual soccer ball.
